A new restaurant is finally in Disney World!

Over at the Swan and Dolphin Resort, the highly anticipated arrival of Bourbon Steak is here! The restaurant officially opens on July 26th, 2025, but we’re stopping by for a sneak peek and we’re bringing you with us!
Disney World’s newest restaurant is finally here! Bourbon Steak is a celebrated and reimagined take on the American Steakhouse. It’s created by Michael Mina, a James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur.

This restaurant offers premium cuts of beef and seafood with an infusion of global flavors. It is a chain restaurant that focuses on three primary elements: product, technique, and presentation. We’ve stopped by one of the restaurant’s California locations, and it just made us more excited for its Disney World location!

The new restaurant is replacing Shula’s Steak House, so it has some big shoes to fill. The new restaurant is located in the Dolphin Hotel and is so bright and welcoming.

One thing we loved about Shula’s was the bar options, and we’re so glad Bourbon Steak kept the style. We love relaxing at the lounge or bar before our meal or instead of sitting in the traditional dining room.

It’s hard not to notice the teal lights and yellow accents in the room. Shula’s was based on the 1972 Miami Dolphins’ “Perfect Season.” All of the football references have been removed (but we see that Miami teal ?).

During our stop in the restaurant, we also got a glimpse at the food you will be able to order if you dine here. You’re not going to want to miss it!

We can’t wait to dive into all of these offerings at the resort’s newest steakhouse! This restaurant does have a dress code for those looking to dine there, so make sure to have on your Sunday best (and no swimsuits) before you go.
