This show will be an animation and live-action hybrid as it follows this famous Disney character. Oswald was created by Walt Disney in 1927; however, he famously lost the rights to the character to Universal in 1928. The loss of Oswald led Walt Disney to create the character we all know and love, Mickey Mouse!

Disney regained rights to the character in 2006, and he entered the public domain in 2023. While they have integrated the character into the theme parks, merchandise, and a few shorts, this show signals the company’s first major project for him since regaining the character.
