REVIEW: You’ve Got A NEW Reason To Get Dole Whip in Disney World (In Case You Needed One)

Is there ever NOT a good excuse to have Dole Whip in Disney World?

Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs

Of course, we’re always making excuses to eat Dole Whip, especially when new flavors and flavor combinations drop or there’s a new float or Dole Whip-centered snack on the menu. However, we just found a NEW reason to try Dole Whip in Disney World…and this time, it makes for a pretty unique combination.

We’re headed over to Swirls on the Water, which is THE spot to grab Dole Whip and Dole Whip treats in Disney Springs.– no park ticket required. We knew we had to try the new Salted Blue Corn Cone for $6.49.

Salted Blue Corn Cone

You get a choice of six Dole Whip flavors to choose from to put INSIDE the cone, so we went with lime and mango, but you can also get vanilla, coconut, strawberry, and classic pineapple. The cone itself has “fusion” sprinkles and white chocolate at the top.

The mango and lime tasted a lot like sherbet, with flavors that balanced each other out. You’ve got the sweet mango paired with the tart lime, and it just works. The cone tasted like a traditional ice cream cone, but it was a touch more savory. It wasn’t a super sweet corn taste, and it’s fun if you’re feeling just a little adventurous and want to tell everyone that you ate your Dole Whip in a corn cone. We’d say it’s about as “corny” as a corn tortilla.

Overall, the cone still has a familiar flavor, but adds a little something EXTRA to your Dole Whip.
