Disney Releases NEW Exclusive Popcorn Bucket in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The force is strong at Disneyland!

We are currently in the midst of Disneyland’s Season of the Force, a celebration of all things Star Wars. This event has brought us limited-time offerings, nighttime experiences, and more — it’s everything a Star Wars fan could ask for! And now, we have something NEW to show you (and you’re gonna LOVE it!).

The Star Wars celebration began on March 28th and will run through May 11th. Fans have adored all the exclusive merchandise and nighttime offerings Disney has introduced so far. This includes a nighttime projection show called Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, the Fire of the Rising Moons firework show, an updated version of Space Mountain called Hyperspace Mountain, meet-and-greets with your favorite characters, and exclusive snacks.

Now let’s talk exclusive merchandise, because the celebration has brought us limited-edition merch that might tempt Star Wars fans to betray the Jedi Order just to get ahold of the goods. We recently got our hands on the new Tauntaun Popcorn Bucket, and this thing is awesome!

For starters, “we thought they smelled bad on the outside…” we’re kidding; that’s just a line from Empire Strikes Back — they do NOT smell! Star Wars fans have been rushing to get this thing, and understandably so — we love it! 

It has such a unique design, and it resembles the Tauntauns from the movie almost perfectly. It even has sound effect features when you use it. We had a popcorn bag sitting on its back, but like Han Solo, you can put the popcorn inside the Tuantaun. The opening is located on top of its back.

You can buy the Tauntaun at Kat Saka’s Kettle as well as beverage cart locations in Galaxy’s Edge. It is also available for purchase as Galactic Grill’s Seasonal Novelty Release, located in  Tomorrowland! Since the popcorn bucket is limited-edition, you will only be able to buy a limit of two per person, per transaction. They are available while supplies last for $32.49–$35, depending on the location.
