Whether you are staying at a Disney resort or just looking to visit one, you might consider booking a dining reservation at one.

However, not all of the Disney hotel restaurants are created equally. Nothing would be worse than going out of your way to one of these hotels to have a meal and for you to leave disappointed. So, we wanted to tell you the 3 hotel restaurants you should avoid.
1. Rix Sports Bar and Grill
Rix Sports Bar & Grill can be found in Coronado Springs. This table service restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is your typical sports bar filled with TVs.

So why is this a skip? The menu is pub grub food and that’s about all you’ll find here. Based on that, we’re sure there is a local sports bar similar to this in your hometown. Many Disney fans would rather head to somewhere more unique while on their vacation.

2. Maya Grill
While we’re at Coronado Springs, right down the hallway is Maya Grill. If you are staying at this resort, you could eat here and have some standard Mexican food. However, if you aren’t staying here, we don’t think it’s worth the trip over to the resort for it.

Similar to Rix, you can probably find a local Mexican restaurant near your home. If you are in the mood for Mexican, we suggest strolling over to EPCOT where there are 3 different restaurants to choose from offering similar food and maybe even better.

3. The Turf Club Bar and Grill
At Saratoga Springs you can find the Turf Club Bar and Grill. This restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so you’re already limited here. While some Disney fans enjoy this restaurant, some also don’t love it.

The theming isn’t anything special and Saratoga Springs can be out of the way for many guests. It’s a good option if you are playing a round of golf there or are staying there, but with the resort being so close to Disney Springs, you have better odds there finding some great food.

Of course, if these sound like good options for you, then that’s great. We’re just suggesting that there are other great Disney World restaurants that fans love more.
