A New Harry Potter Snack Is Coming Soon...and We Think It Could Dethrone Butterbeer

If you’ve ever visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood, you have probably enjoyed the taste of butterbeer.

Maybe you’ve enjoyed it both hot and cold (and there are some serious opinions on both). Maybe you’ve even popped into Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour and even had Butterbeer ice cream. But there’s a NEW butterbeer treat coming soon that could dethrone butterbeer and all other butterbeer snacks: Butterbeer Crêpes.

As we previously reported, Universal Orlando recently dropped a few menu items that you’ll find in its all new theme park, Epic Universe, which opens on May 22nd. One of those items is a Butterbeer Crêpe at Café L’air De La Sirène in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. It’s made with shortbread cookie butter, Bavarian cream, Butterbeer cream, strawberries, Butterbeer drizzle, and a Butterbeer shortbread cookie. So, yes, we think it could put regular butterbeer to shame.

This dining spot will also have the Baguette de Dinde on the menu. This is a dish with sliced cracked black pepper turkey piled high with arugula, crisp apples, and creamy Brie served with a baguette with zesty mustard butter and apple butter.

This restaurant will also feature Quiche Lorraine, made with an egg custard baked in a flaky pie crust filled with crispy bacon, gruyère cheese, caramelized onions, a mornay sauce, and a side of fresh berries topped with a lavender honey drizzle.

If you want something lighter, you can order the Salad Niçoise.

At Le Gobelet Noir, you can order the Alchemist’s Platter — a spread featuring smoked sausage, potato, and cheese pierogies, pickled eggs, marinated beets, caramelized onions, and a pretzel served with German mustard and cheese fondue.

This location will also offer Lentil Stew with lentils, vegan bacon, and root vegetables served with artisan bread.

But let’s get back to Butterbeer… there are a variety of ways to enjoy Butterbeer in Universal already. As mentioned, you can get it cold. Or you can get it hot. You can even get frozen butterbeer (an AllEars favorite). Universal has also recently released a non-dairy version of butterbeer, so even more visitors can enjoy it. You’ll find the beverage at Butterbeer Carts and restaurants throughout The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You’ll also find it at Bar Moonshine in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic in Epic Universe.

You can also find Butterbeer Fudge in Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley and Honeydukes in Hogsmeade.

You can get Butterbeer Potted Cream at the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley and Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

As we also mentioned, you can get Butterbeer Ice Cream in a waffle cone at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour. You can also get Butterbeer Ice Cream at The Hopping Pot and Three Broomsticks.

For a limited time, Universal will be celebrating Butterbeer Season, so you’ll find even MORE Butterbeer snacks in Universal parks. This will include Try new, limited-time Butterbeer seasonal treats.

At home, Butterbeer Carts will be showing up all over the U.S. and Butterbeer-themed snacks will be available in grocery stores, including Goldfish Butterbeer Flavored Grahams.
