Disney World has so many places to go to outside of the theme parks!

The Disney World resorts have so many fun things to check out like the excellent dining and fun themeing! One of our favorite things to check out at each Disney resort is the bars and lounges — which takes us to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to one of the most exciting and interactive bars in Disney World! Trader Sam’s is an immersive experience that serves up tiki drinks and surprises at every turn. This bar famously has long wait times including a virtual queue that will fill up on busier nights.

What most people don’t know though is there is two sides to this famous tiki bar! Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is the inside portion of the bar with fun interactive elements but you can also head outside to Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace, which is what we’re talking about today.

The Tiki Terrace is right outside of the famous bar — and you can find live music, views of Seven Seas Lagoon, and the same drinks from Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto! My friend Sage and I went to check out the bar during one episode of the Everything in Disney World series which you can check out here!
The outdoor seating area is relaxed and has a nice ambiance, but can get warm during the day. When we stopped by, we grabbed two drinks for our stroll around the resort! The first was Sage’s Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum drink for $17.50!

This drink has Pyrat XO Reserve Rum, cream of coconut, pineapple, and orange juices in it and it’s dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg on top! Sage described his drink as a Pina Colada on the rocks with heavy notes of nutmeg.

For my drink, I grabbed the Tahitian Torch for $16.50! This drink was made up of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, tropical juices, passion fruit, and fresh lime juice.

My drink was nice and sweet but did have a sharp tartness. The fruit was the most prominent flavor, and while it wasn’t my favorite drink I’ve ever had from Trader Sam’s, it was a nice vacation drink!

When you’re trying out drinks at Trader Sam’s, you can expect to find sweet, tiki-style vacation drinks. While we personally enjoy the show and experience you get by dining inside the Grog Grotto, we love that you can just walk up and get some classic drinks without the line outside.

The entire team has had so much fun exploring Disney World as we continue our quest to do everything in Disney World in 100 days, and the Tiki Terrace was another check box on the list! Don’t forget to keep following AllEars for everything Disney World!
