Check Out the CROWDS On One of the Busiest Days of the Year in Disney World

2025 is right around the corner.

NYE Fireworks!

There is nothing quite like ringing in the New Year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and you can find treats all across the resort. If you are looking for fun celebrations, including DJs and fireworks, you are going to want to head to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom tonight. We are in the parks today to see what the crowds are looking like on the last day of 2024 ahead of tonight’s big celebrations.

In previous years, the parks have gotten crowded as people want to enjoy the specialty entertainment that Disney World has to offer. Plus, the parks are open late as both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are open until 1 AM.

2025

When we arrived at EPCOT in the mid-afternoon,  we noticed an interesting crowd pattern happening. The lines to get into EPCOT were actually relatively low,  but once we got in the park crowds were high.

Crowds

Even the dependable people eater Spaceship Earth had a wait hovering in the 65-minute range!

Wait times

Living with the Land has about a 20 minute wait as of writing and Frozen Ever After is sitting at a 140 minute wait. But the ride was down earlier, which could be another reason for the high wait time.

The crowds continued to balloon as we traveled into World Showcase.

France!

The pavilions and walkways are full of guests, with some even beginning to stake out their spots for later tonight! We are keeping an eye on the crowds to see if they continue to rise as we get closer to fireworks!
