Planning your next Disney vacation in 2026 just got easier for DVC members!

Disney Vacation Club has hit some major milestones this year adding brand new tower expansions to their hotels and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. While we eagerly await more news of the status of a proposed (then we thought benched, then resurrected) hotel in Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, there’s even bigger news that DVC members and prospects are interested in. So if you’re curious to see how long your DVC points will allow you to stay at Disney and get ahead of planning those vacations, you’re going to want to take notice!
If you’ve been thinking about using DVC points you already own or mulling over the possibility of renting points for your next Disney trip, this is your sign to go ahead and start planning! The 2026 Disney Vacation Club points chart has just been released for all of the DVC properties to help you in your planning. However, if you’re not familiar with DVC already, here’s a little about what this program is about!

DVC or Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s version of a timeshare ownership program. Instead of the historically dedicated weeks, Disney allows for a certain amount of points to correspond to their DVC properties for overnight hotel stays, allowing for more flexibility in where and how you choose to use your points. You become a member with Disney Vacation Club once you agree to purchase your chosen amount of points and then have the next few decades to use the points year after year for hotel stays across Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, and so much more. Along with the hotel stays there are even extra perks DVC members are offered throughout the year (when points are purchased directly through Disney).

Often times when folks are curious about the program or looking for other ways to save on their hotel stays, they may resort to renting a current owner’s unused points. Often times this allows them to use the program like a member would to decide if the hotels included and extra space in the hotel rooms are worth the hefty cost to buy into Disney Vacation Club.

So back to the points chart — why does this matter so much?! Well, this determines how many hotel stays you can book each year with the number of points you’ve purchased. For example, if you’ve purchased 300 points, then you can decide how many vacations you want to take each year based on how many points your chosen hotel room category costs per night. The DVC points chart breaks down the nightly cost of each hotel room category and even includes a weekly total.

Here’s a look at what you can expect your Disney vacations in 2026 to cost you when using your DVC points by destination!
