Disney’s NEWEST Hotel Is DECKED OUT for the Holidays!

The holidays are here!

Disneyland

The holiday season has arrived at Disneyland, with decorations and celebrations across the resort. This includes Disneyland’s (technically) newest hotel, the Pixar Place Hotel. We took a visit to the hotel recently to see it decked out in all its holiday glory!

The decorations start before even entering the building.

The hotel’s massive lobby features a large amount of themed decorations that complement its preexisting Pixar theming.

There’s even a spot to meet Santa Claus surrounded by Pixar accouterments.

Disney describes the Pixar Place Hotel as  “the first and only hotel in the world to celebrate all the films of Pixar Animation Studios. Contemporary design weaves together with whimsical Pixar artistry from the lobby floor to the rooftop pool deck.”

The structure that houses said hotel was first opened in 1984 as the Emerald of Anaheim, operated by the Tokyu Group and later named The Pan Pacific Hotel Anaheim. Disney purchased the hotel in 1995, for a reported US$36 million, and renamed the Disneyland Pacific Hotel. It was re-branded as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in the early 2000s and retained that name until it was given the current Pixar theme in January of 2024.

Disneyland’s Pixar Place Hotel is all decked out for its (technical) very first Christmas as part of the Disneyland Hotel. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
