Ghouls, assemble!
While spooky season may be just about over, a brand-new set of Geeki Tikis is here to keep the creeps coming by channeling some of Disney’s best-known characters from its most iconic attraction.
The Haunted Mansion has been one of Disney’s premier attractions since it first debuted over 50 years ago. One of the Mansion’s best-known scenes is the stretching portrait gallery, which was originally included in the Disneyland version to function as an elevator to lower riders under the park’s berm before they board their Doom Buggies. Now, Geeki Tiki has crafted four new glasses in tribute to the stars of the stretching portraits.
First up, the Girl on the Tightrope and Dynamite Man!
Known for walking the tightrope… above the waiting jaws of a crocodile, this first tiki casts the scene in green, along with the Man in Dynamite on the backside.
The two-sided Tiki glass is also available with the Dynamite Man displayed at the forefront…
… in a purple color scheme.
Then we have the Quicksand Men/Graveyard Woman combo!
The Graveyard Woman — who in some versions of the Haunted Mansion mythos is an older Constance Hatchaway, A.K.A. the murderous bride — sits atop her ex-husband’s headstone, the axe in her hand indicating she’s far from a grieving widow. The version with the axe-wielding woman as the lead is cast in blue.
The Quicksand Men, all three, sit atop each other as they sink.
The version with them in the lead is cast in a brown reminiscent of quicksand.
Each of the Geeki Tikis is boxed in window packages that mimic the stretching room design.
Even the frame displays the portrait as it appears before the room stretches.
These Haunted Mansion Geeki Tikis bring all four Stretching Room characters to glassware in all their ghoulish glory. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney merchandise.
