NEWS: Over 25 Flights Are Returning to Orlando International Airport for the Holidays

If you’re planning on flying in or out of Orlando International Airport (MCO) in the coming months, we’ve got good news for you!

We keep up with all the latest flights, both added and taken away from Orlando Airport, to help you prepare for upcoming trips. We also love to give you tips on how to use services like TSA Precheck. If you’re planning to travel for the holidays, Orlando Airport is about to add TONS of flights back to its lineup to make things easier for travelers!

According to the Orlando Business Journal, over 25 flight routes will be added back into Orlando Airport’s rotation throughout the next 6(-ish) months. Check out the list below for a full breakdown!

November

  • Air Transat will provide service again to Quebec City, Quebec, November 1st-April 25th
  • Spirit Airlines will restart service to Cleveland; Milwaukee; Salt Lake City; St. Louis; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Louisville, Kentucky; and Richmond, Virginia, November 9th
  • Bahamasair will restart flights from Freeport, Bahamas, November 18th-January 2nd
  • Frontier Airlines will resume service to Cancun, Mexico, November 21st, as well as seasonal service to LaGuardia International Airport in New York November 5th and Columbus, Ohio, and Milwaukee November 22nd
  • Silver Airways will run service from Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, November 23rd-January 4th
  • Southwest Airlines will bring back service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport November 9th-January 5th, and seasonal service from Sacramento, California, and Salt Lake City November 23rd-November 30th
Terminal C

December

  • AirTransat will bring back service to Halifax, Nova Scotia, December 17th-May 11th
  • Spirit will start service to Cartagena, Colombia on December 5th and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, December 19th-January 7th
  • Latam Airlines will restart service to Santiago, Chile, December 5th-March 27th
  • WestJet will bring back service to Regina, Saskatchewan, December 6th-April 25th and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, December 13th-April 25th
  • Frontier will return service in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 3rd; Norfolk, Virginia, December 4th; William P. Hobby Airport in Houston and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, December 6th; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, October 13th and Des Moines, Iowa, December 18th. It will resume seasonal service to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, December 21st-January 7th
  • Sun Country Airlines will restart flights to Milwaukee December 12th-January 15th
  • Southwest Airlines will bring back service to Sacramento, California, and Salt Lake City December 21st-January 4th
  • Avianca will bring back service to Medellin, Colombia, December 2nd-January 31st and San Salvador, El Salvador, December 1st-January 31st
Orlando Airport

January

  • Delta Air Lines will restart seasonal service to Las Vegas January 5th-10th
  • Silver Airways will run service to Fort Lauderdale from January 6th-March 6th
  • Southwest Airlines will bring back service to Detroit January 11th
MCO Airport

February

  • Frontier Airlines will relaunch service to Phoenix February 13th
  • Southwest Airlines will bring back service to Sacramento and Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 15th. On February 15th, it will also start seasonal service to Salt Lake City, Boston, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Portland, Maine.
  • Sun Country Airlines will restart flights to Milwaukee February 13th-April 20th
Orlando International Airport

March

  • Southwest Airlines will restart seasonal service to Long Beach, California, March 8th-April 5th
  • Silver Airways will restart its Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, service March 8th
Universal Store in Orlando Airport

April

  • Southwest Airlines will return service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport April 8th and bring back seasonal service to Portland, Maine, April 12th-26th
  • Virgin Atlantic will bring back service to Edinburgh, Scotland, April 2nd
Disney Store in MCO Airport

June & July

  • Latam Airlines will restart service to Santiago, Chile, June 1st
  • Avianca will return service to San Salvador, El Salvador, July 7th and to Medellin, Colombia, July 9th
