We know packing for Disney World can be a challenge, and you want to be prepared for every situation.

We all forget to pack a park essential from time to time and end up paying a hefty price for it at the parks or the resorts. When we are packing for Disney World, we try to think about the items that would be cheaper to buy beforehand instead of having to purchase them when our vacation starts.
These four items are things we always make sure to pack or purchase before our trip.

It is hurricane season in Florida which means there is a high chance that it could rain during your trip to Disney World. Don’t let the rain get in the way of having a great park day! Make sure to purchase ponchos before your trip so that way you do not have to shove into a gift shop with everyone else trying to purchase an overpriced poncho.

Instead, Emma loves this Frogg Toggs poncho. Not only is it 100% waterproof, but it is also breathable and packable, and it comes with a carrying pouch. It even has an adjustable hood and comes in multiple colors.

Not only does it rain in Central Florida, but it can also get chilly from time to time, especially if you plan to stay in the parks late during the winter months. Many people do not think to pack sweatshirts and instead pack tank tops and shorts, thinking that it will still be as hot during the winter months.

Make sure to bring a sweatshirt with you, like this adorable Mickey Mouse crewneck. That way, you can avoid paying a higher price to grab a last-minute sweatshirt in the parks.

It is so important to stay hydrated at Disney World, regardless of the season. Paying for plastic water bottles in the parks can add up.

Instead, we like to bring a reusable water bottle with us, like this Owala water bottle. Water bottle refill stations are conveniently located around the parks and resorts, making it easy to keep your bottle full throughout the day. Plus, it can double as an autograph book, and you can have the characters sign it!

Your phone is an important tool during your vacation at Disney World. The My Disney Experience app will help you book dining reservations and Lightning Lane selections, check wait times, act as your room key, and so much more!

The app can drain your battery, and Disney knows this, so they offer FuelRod stations throughout the park. You pay a one-time fee for the FuelRod, and then swaps are free after that. But we have a secret to share with you. One FuelRod at Disney World costs the same as purchasing two FuelRods online. So we like to buy ours beforehand and get two for the price of one!

By purchasing these four Disney World essentials beforehand, it can save you some extra cash by not having to purchase them in the parks.
