The Famous Disney World Beignet Cafe Is Now Temporarily CLOSED

A popular Disney World hotel dining location is now temporarily closed. The Scat Cat’s Club — Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter will not be serving up beignets until at least mid-October.

But, before anyone panics, while you won’t be able to get beignets from Scat Cat’s Club — Café for a bit, you can still grab beignets close by!

As of today, September 23rd, the Scat Cat’s Club — Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter will be temporarily closed for refurbishment. The closure is expected to last until mid-October, but Disney has not released an exact reopening date yet.

During the closure, Mickey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets, and specialty coffees will be available right next door at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. As well, the Scat Cat’s Club — Lounge will still be available for appetizers and drinks, including the Baton Rouge Beignets.

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the food court area inside of Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter. Here you can find Cajun, Creole, and American fare in a casual setting. Now, you can also grab some warm, fluffy, Mickey-shaped beignets!

Don’t worry, you can still get beignets!
