One of the biggest stars of the Star Wars franchise got to live out a surreal moment visiting Disneyland and we couldn’t help but smile along with them!

We’re total suckers to hear of celebrities being just like us and visiting theme parks for a day of fun. We’ve spotted several recently vacationing with family, or even spending their honeymoon (and we guess first “official” family trip together) at some of our favorite places to vacation, too. One major Disney star just got to live out a wild doppelganger moment that we still can’t get over (twice)!
Anytime we learn that celebrities, especially Disney stars and performers, take to the theme parks for a day of fun in the sun, it makes them super relatable to us regular people. It’s a nice reminder that even they can use a break from everyday work and life stresses. So where else to live out your best theme park dreams than the “Happiest Place On Earth”?

It’s cool to hear when these trips for celebs turn into a cool experience for them though. Recently, Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the latest Star Wars trilogy film franchise, opted for a day out at Disneyland and she may have gotten more than she bargained for on her visit.

Ridley took to her social media accounts to recount a few moments from her day at Disneyland that left a lasting impression. She got to meet her character Rey walking around Batuu in Galaxy’s Edge in a moment which she called “surrealist” and also gave a shout-out to her Disneyland tour guide.

The surreal moments didn’t just stop there though! While visiting “on planet” she also got another glimpse at her true likeness when she spotted herself in the preshow of the Rise of the Resistance attraction. During the pre-show, Ridley’s character appears in a hologram version as you’re receiving an “incoming transmission” from the resistance forces.

In the story she posted, Ridley turns around to face the camera and gives the most stunned reaction to seeing her character portrayed in the ride. She captioned the story with “Being IN (the top rated! ?) ride at Disneyland is MAD!!!”. Honestly, we STILL have the same reaction every time we ride this immersive and incredibly advanced ride.

So see, even celebrities can be “wowed” by a bit of Disney fun and imagery when they visit! We’re not the only ones who can swoon over meeting with characters and marvel at the intricacy of what it takes to create, imagine, and bring to life rides and attractions that make you feel like you’re in a completely different place!
We’re constantly on celeb watch to see who might pop up in the theme parks next. Be sure to stay tuned with us at AllEars for even more as they happen!
