Everything We Know About the NEW Hogwarts Castle Show Coming to Harry Potter Land at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando has been making BIG headlines with all the NEW additions they’ve been bringing to their parks!

Additions like a new land, a new attraction, and the biggest news of all, an entirely new theme park! But there’s a fun addition coming to the parks that we are looking forward to as well: a brand-new show. Specifically one that is set to be magical.

As fans of the wizarding world, any announcement related to the Harry Potter franchise has us excited, and the announcement of a new castle show left us putting our investigating hats on in replacement of wizard robes in order to find out what it’s all about.

Hogwarts Castle

Hogwarts Always! is debuting at Islands of Adventure on June 14th, 2024. It is described as a “nighttime extravaganza” that will center around the Hogwarts castle, completely transforming it with projections and lighting up the sky with pyrotechnics. You can see the concept art for the show below — looks AMAZING, right?!

The show’s storyline is based on a journey throughout iconic moments of a year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, such as school supply shopping at Diagon Alley, riding aboard the Hogwarts Express, participating in the Sorting Hat ceremony, and many more experiences we read about and saw on film (and hoped to experience for ourselves!).

The show also features fan-favorite characters such as Professor Dumbledore, Hagrid, the Sorting Hat, and many more throughout the show. To top it all off, it has four different endings that celebrate each of the Hogwarts Houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Which house are you? Take our quiz to find out!

This is not the first show presented at Hogwarts Castle; the latest nighttime show was “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle,” which ran periodically for several years.
