We’re happy to report that we ARE okay, and you’ll just have to trust us. Now, go with us here…because we’re about to break it down for you.

Hey, Pluto!

Character interactions are SO popular at Disney Parks around the world. It gives you a moment to interact, talk to, and take a photo with a character that has literally been plucked right out of a fairytale.  What could be better than that?

Chip ‘n Dale

Well, we’ll tell you! The souvenir of a lifetime. While you’re interacting with the character, be sure to hand them something to sign. Character autographs are a great souvenir to get, and they are 100% free! Any character that you can meet will be able to sign things for you and will be more than happy to do so.

Mushu at Disney California Adventure

The signature is something that you are immediately able to take with you right after the interaction. If a PhotoPass photographer took your photo, be sure to check the Disney app for whatever park you’re in for a copy of that photo. We also have a pro tip for you, if you don’t want to pay for the photo, you can hand the photographer your phone (with the camera on) and they will take the photo on your phone, totally free of charge! So, BAM, a free signature and photo!

SO CUTE!

When it comes to autographs, make sure you have something that they will easily be able to sign and a Sharpie marker in case their character attendant doesn’t have one on hand. We’ve seen people get water bottles, backpacks, Mickey ears, and of course — a signed autograph book! If you’re traveling with family and snapped the perfect family photo, you can even get a picture frame signed if it’s big enough! Check out the one we did above.

Hiya, Goof!

We know there are a TON of souvenirs to choose from, but if you LOVE character interactions (And YES, adults can do them too!) — this may be a great souvenir for you!
