Bill Warren, a former longtime Disney World executive has passed away.

He passed away on March 26th at the age of 68 according to The Orlando Sentinel. Years ago, he was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s.
Warren served Disney World as the vice president of public affairs starting in 1995. Then he was promoted to vice president of government relations in 2008.

After that, Warren became district administrator for the Reedy Creek Improvement District (the taxing district created by the Florida Legislature to provide government services to Disney World). With these roles, Warren often appeared in the media.

His wife Lisa Warren said, “He had a long career, and he was really blessed because he loved every aspect of it.” There will be a memorial service at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park at 10:30AM on April 15th.
