Travel hack ALERT! A TikTok by @durbinmalonster that now has over one MILLION likes has EVERYONE talking. In the video, a former airline employee explains how she can confidently move through the airport thanks to a simple trick.

The TikTok gives people one simple instruction: on the morning of your flight, simply text yourself (or someone else) your flight number + airline code. For example, if you are flying with American Airlines on flight 1684, you would text “AA 1684” or “AA1684” (the space does not matter).

Step 1: Send the text!

You can send this text to yourself, to the person picking you up from the airport, or to someone you’re meeting at your destination! Once you send the text, that text becomes a link that has ALL the flight information you may need!

The text becomes a LINK!

Once the link is live (meaning the text is underlined), tap “Preview Flight.” From here, you can see exactly where the plane is, what terminal to visit, and where to go for baggage claim. Oh, and all of that information automatically updates if anything changes!
