These shows feature some entertaining ice skating but also involve some tricky maneuvers that could be dangerous if something goes wrong. That’s what happened recently at a Disney on Ice performance in Minnesota, resulting in a skater being injured. We now have an update on how that skater is doing.

Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars recently had performances at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. The show featured dozens of Disney characters, including Belle from Beauty and the Beast. During one of these shows, the skater portraying Belle was injured during a lift. She was immediately taken to a hospital where she was in critical condition.

As of February 12th, the skater’s condition improved from critical to serious. Now, though, we have another update. According to People, the skater’s condition has improved to a “satisfactory condition.” This means that she has an “excellent or good prognosis” and that she is conscious and has stable vital signs.
