Buying Tickets for an EXCLUSIVE Disney Event Just Got 10X EASIER

Disneyland has a lot of fun After Dark events, and yes, those of us who go to Disney World ARE a little jealous.

The most recent event was Sweetheart’s Nite, but the next big event that’s coming up soon is Star Wars Nite. That’s right, the Force is coming to Disneyland for a special after hours event. Now, these events have their own tickets, but the way you purchase those tickets is changing.

If you’ve ever tried to buy tickets for a special event in Disneyland, you might know that it can be QUITE the hassle (Oogie Boogie Bash, we’re looking at you). Well, Disney has changed the ticketing process to make it a little more seamless. For the first time, if you’re in the online queue to buy Star Wars Nite tickets, you can opt to get a digital notification when your time to purchase tickets arrives.

How this works is that once you’re in the queue, you choose the “notify me” option and enter your email address. When your turn comes up, you’ll get an email to let you know to go back to the waiting room so you can enter the online ticket store. From the time your turn starts, you’ll have 10 minutes to use the link to go back to the site. This should — in theory — help with all the high traffic issues Disney often has with these kinds of ticket sales.

The event includes exclusive Star Wars-themed food, entertainment, lightsaber training, a dance party, and tons of characters. Oh, and did we mention you can wear costumes, too? Those who dress up will be invited to join a special cavalcade with Mickey and Minnie!

As far as getting tickets goes, we only have the following to say: May the Force Be With You.
