It’s looking like it’ll be a stacked year for Disney Entertainment.

Between new movies, new series, new seasons, and more, we’re expecting no shortage of content to watch and stream in 2024. Disney just released the trailer for a new series coming soon, and we just got some updates about two more shows coming this year.
Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich discussed upcoming plans for some of the company’s popular shows during a recent press conference, per The Hollywood Reporter. Erwich dished about what’s coming next for the media giant and what exactly we can expect to see this year.

We know that Disney entertainment — and streaming specifically — are top priorities for the company and CEO Bob Iger. But, Disney operates multiple different platforms, including ABC, ESPN, and Hulu as well. According to Erwich, a lot of care and consideration goes into deciding what content ends up on what platform.

As far as what we can expect for 2024, he confirmed that Goosebumps has been renewed for a second season on Disney+. The series follows a different storyline throughout each season, but for season two, we’ll drop in on teenage siblings who discover a threat in their home — and we’ll have to wait and see how it ends.

Not only that, but Erwich announced that ABC is still moving forward with The Golden Bachelorette, although they’re still in the casting process. The Bachelor spinoff will air this fall after receiving solid reviews. A third of the show’s audience on Hulu had never watched any show in the franchise before this!

Of course, it’s still early in 2024 so we’ll be keeping an eye out for even more announcements about what we can expect from Disney entertainment over the coming year!
