There are several ways you could get to Disney World; it just depends on where you’re coming from. You could fly, drive, or even take the Brightline high-speed train. But if you do plan on driving to Florida in 2024, we have some good news for you!
According to an exclusive interview with CNN, GasBuddy is predicting a drop in gas prices in 2024!

GasBuddy, who predicted the 2023 gas prices very accurately, is now predicting that we will be seeing an average of $3.38 per gallon in the upcoming election year. That is significantly lower than 2023’s average of $3.51 and 2022’s average of $3.95!

That 2024 average would mean that Americans would spend $32 billion less on gas than in 2023 and $79 billion less than in 2022. GasBuddy doesn’t expect the prices to hit $4 a gallon a single month in the coming year. It predicts the highest prices to be around $3.67 in May and drop to the lowest price of $2.99 around December 2024.

Patrick De Haan, GasBuddy’s head of petroleum analysis, shared his thoughts, “Next year should represent a continued march towards what most Americans would consider normal prices at the pump.” We sure hope so, our trips to Disney World could use a break in gas prices!
