The NEW Reason to Go See Cirque du Soleil at Disney Springs

A lot is happening over at Disney Springs and if you haven’t been in a while, you’ll want to go!

Two brand new restaurants have opened — Summer House on the Lake and EET by Maneet Chauhan. There are so many restaurants to eat and things to do at Disney Springs. One of our favorites is the Cirque du Soleil show, Drawn to Life and now, it just got an update.

To celebrate its second anniversary, Cirque Du Soleil: Drawn To Life has added a new finale to its show! This new finale honors the heart of the show, which is the relationship between father and daughter.

The new finale features a swing-to-swing act where performers soar across the stage performing stunts, choreography, and ultimately telling the end of the story between Julie and her father, a Disney animator. Julie finishes the lines of animation started by her father, completing their journey together.

“The new finale Swing to Swing act celebrates the completion of the triumphant journey of Julie as she finishes the lines started in an animation left to her by her father to forever link them to one another,” said Justin Sullivan, artistic director for Drawn to Life.

The family-friendly show also brings in elements of Disney’s 100-year history of animation and storytelling, all wrapped up into one amazing show with breathtaking stunts and high-flying acrobatics. You can see the show Wednesdays through Saturdays at 5:30 PM and 8 PM, and on Sundays at 1:30 PM and 4 PM.
