CONFIRMED: These NEW McDonald's Happy Meal Toys Are Going to Be POPULAR!

It’s a hot topic, and most people are either team Mickey D’s or they avoid the golden arches at all costs. One thing is for certain, when we first learned that this new Happy Meal Toy was coming to McDonald’s, people kinda started freaking out. We didn’t know when they would arrive, though — until now!

It’s official – Squishmallows make their Happy Meal Toy debut at McDonald’s later this month! The meals will hit participating restaurants on December 26th, 2023.

We first reported that Squishmallows would be featured as Happy Meal Toys back in June, but we didn’t have any sort of date or timeline for when the toys would be showing up. The meal later came to Canada, and now it’s making its way to stores across the United States.

There will be 12 different toys to collect, including iconic characters like Cam and Fifi. Not only that, but there will even be a Grimace Squishmallow and a surprise mystery character.

“We’re all about connecting our fans to culture and Squishmallows are some of the hottest toys out there right now,” said Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “This collaboration welcomes McDonald’s and Squishmallow fans alike to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience with the first McDonald’s Squishmallows Squad.”

Each character will come with a unique playlist thanks to Universal Music Group. Just scan the QR code on the Happy Meal box to find each Squish’s playlist, which have “been carefully curated based off their unique and fun personalities.”
