HOLD EVERYTHING! There is massive McDonald’s news you need to know.
Why are we, a theme park blog, talking about McDonald’s? Well, McDonald’s and Disney go back a long way (there’s even a McDonald’s on Disney World property!) and continue to partner on their Happy Meal Toys consistently, so we keep up with the latest news. And it seems that something similar to a long-gone beloved menu item could be on the way!
According to a McDonald’s press release, the company confirmed that the demand for chicken is on par with the demand for beef, and so they’ve been working hard on their McNuggets, McChicken, McCrispy, and McSpicy offerings.
However, their plans now include “plans to offer McCrispy in nearly all markets around the world by the end of 2025 and to expand McCrispy into wraps and tenders.”
Uh, WHAT? A McCrispy wrap sure sounds a lot like the Snack Wrap that used to be on the menu and many fans of the restaurant chain miss dearly. While it won’t be exactly the same, it does sound as if it’ll be close, and at this point, we’ll take it!
