Ah Spaceship Earth, we love you so.
Not only is the Spaceship Earth ride iconic on its own, but it is the icon of EPCOT. Since Disney installed special lights on it a couple of years ago, we’ve enjoyed watching the light shows to different music for the festivals. Now that the Festival of the Holidays has started, there’s a new show returning for 2023!
We waited until the Florida skies were dark, and then we saw it — Spaceship Earth lit up for its THREE nighttime shows. The first is a show inspired by the new film Wish, the second is the 100th Anniversary show, and then the THIRD is the special Festival of the Holidays show.
The show is set to “When We’re Together” from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, which is a song that always makes us emotional during the holidays. This was 2022’s special Festival of the Holidays show as well.
Isn’t she stunning? During the Festival of the Holidays this year, you can catch this show several times during the night.
