Disney’s Hollywood Studios is making history right now! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves; it’s rude to lead without a proper introduction. See that fancy Gingerbread fellow? That’s Ollie.
Ollie is NEW to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (and Disney World in general), so let’s give him a warm welcome. Time to meet Ollie, the new ICON of the Jollywood Nights holiday party!
According to Disney, there’s a brand-new Disney Parks character named Ollie visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can find him all over the park, including the Jollywood Nights sign you see as you enter.
Ollie is the first new park-specific character we’ve seen since Figment was first featured in Disney World. Welcome to Hollywood, Ollie! We got to hear from RJ Temple, the creative director who worked on several elements of the party, including the Tip Top Club at the Tower of Terror, the transformation of the ABC Commissary for Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, and Ollie. He explained that Ollie is like the mascot of Jollywood Nights!
You can also see Ollie on the Jollywood Nights map, which reads, “There once was a cookie named Ollie who made his way west on a trolley. With oven-baked gleam, he followed his dream and made all of Tinseltown jolly!”
