It’s finally here!
Yep, we’re talking about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Isn’t it hard to believe that the holiday season has officially arrived? The annual holiday party in Magic Kingdom kicked off on November 9th, and we showed up ready to deck the halls and PARTY. We met some characters, took some photos, and even checked out some cool merchandise. Speaking of merchandise… there’s a party-exclusive souvenir that we fell in love with.
Each year, we get so excited about the exclusive popcorn buckets that can be purchased during the parties. This year, one of the popcorn buckets is this Mickey Toy Soldier Bucket that you can grab for $28.
You can open up the back of the bucket to store the popcorn!

Popcorn comes with the purchase of the bucket, but you can choose not to have popcorn put in here and put in the typical box if you want to keep your new bucket clean.
One of our favorite details of this bucket is the Mickey snowflake typically seen across Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party branding on the back of the hat. How cute is that?!
This year, toy soldiers seem to be a common theme throughout the party. They’re typically featured in the parades, but in 2023, you’ll be able to meet them, and they’re even featured on the complimentary ornament given to guests upon entry to the party.

when we got ours at MVMCP they would only put the popcorn in the popcorn bucket. We were hoping to get it in a box to keep the bucket clean.
That’s so strange, it must depend on the CM. When I got mine at MVMCP on November 16th they asked if I wanted the popcorn in the bucket or on the side. I’d recommend maybe going to a different popcorn station to see if you can get it on the side.
