Universal Orlando is yet another theme park that makes Orlando a fun place to visit for a vacation filled with thrills, immersive experiences, and delicious food.
From The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Islands of Adventure to the food and entertainment options at CityWalk, there is plenty for the theme park fanatic to do and see. We follow Universal on Twitter, and they’re known to Tweet some pretty hilarious things as well as cryptic messages. Today, they posted another cryptic Tweet that has the gears in our brain turning.
Universal shared a photo of the Islands of Adventure logo along with the caption “8-17-23.” We can only assume this is Universal’s way of teasing some news!

In May 2023, the fan-favorite attraction Poseidon’s Fury permanently closed its doors. We can’t help but wonder if August 17th will bring us an announcement on what could be replacing Poseidon…
It also kind of looks like a soundtrack cover, so it is possible that is what the announcement is about. We’ll just have to wait and see!
