This Is the Most ICONIC Disney Popcorn Bucket – Do You Own It?

Popcorn buckets are a WHOLE thing in Disney Parks. Disney has released some pretty nice ones, too. We LOVED the Cinderella Carriage Premium Popcorn Bucket released for the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary.

The Donald Duck Popcorn bucket from Tokyo Disneyland is also EPIC. The Picnic Basket Popcorn Buckets are also pretty nice, too. But when we asked YOU, our readers, about the most iconic popcorn bucket, you almost ALL had the same answer.

We’ll start, though, with the popcorn buckets we’re putting in the runner-up category. Jonna said, “I have several but the Dumbo one is my favorite,” while reader Searlait agreed. The Dumbo popcorn bucket was released in 2019. It even came with an adorable matching sipper.

Brittany White mentioned the “it’s a small world” popcorn bucket that was released in Tokyo Disneyland in 2021. Other readers mentioned other Tokyo Disneyland popcorn buckets, including the Stitch popcorn bucket.

Julia said, “I love the cinderella carriage I just got on my trip. But I also like the seasonal ones I put out during Halloween, or Christmas as decorations.”

Other popcorn buckets got a mention, including Mr. Toad, Disney World’s 50th Anniversary popcorn bucket, the Star Wars Mouse Droid, and the Mickey Balloon popcorn buckets.

However, there was one popcorn bucket with the most mentions, and we bet you probably already know which one it is. When it was first released, people waited in hours-long lines to get one. It turned up on eBay for a LOT of money — even a sketch of that popcorn bucket raised funds for charity. Yes, we’re talking about the infamous Figment Popcorn Bucket.

This little guy caused QUITE the ruckus, after all. AE Reader Kara said, “For the whole reason of there were six hour lines for it, Figment.” Allison even pointed out just HOW popular the Figment Popcorn Bucket was, “Have any others made national news besides Figment?”

Nope, we don’t think so! Figment is a HOT commodity and we often see Figment merchandise sell out FAST.

The Figment Popcorn Bucket was released in 2022 at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts. It was brought back again in 2023 for the same festival (but the chaos that surrounded it in 2022 had mostly died down by then).
