A Disney Springs Store Just Announced a Temporary CLOSURE

Just when we finally had the layout of Disney Springs completely memorized, they threw us a curveball! Let’s be honest — Disney Springs has changed quite a bit since the old Downtown Disney days. Nowadays, the main bus entrance is over by the fancy part of Disney Springs, which didn’t even exist a few years ago!

Speaking of Disney Springs changes, a jewelry store just announced that it is in the middle of a major relocation. Let’s take a look.

The Alex and Ani shop in Disney Springs is relocating! The shop was previously located near Frontera Cocina and the Disney Springs Welcome Center, but now things are changing.

The Disney team has not shared any updates on the new location, but we do know that the shop will be closed from May 30th to June 1st.

Recently, we’ve seen several stores shut down permanently in Disney Springs, like the Melissa Clube store and the Ugg shop. Who knows — maybe the Alex and Ani store will end up there instead!

When we first learned about those permanent store closures, we saw signs on the doors reading, “Something new is coming soon,” though Disney hasn’t shared any additional updates.

In the meantime, we’re also keeping our eyes out for an update on the NEW Summer House on the Lake restaurant coming soon.

It’s still under construction!

The restaurant has been described as a “California-inspired” location with “simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products.” We can’t wait to give it a try!
