If you’re headed to Universal Orlando soon to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you’ll need to know some things.
First, you should probably get familiar with everything you can do in the Wizarding World (and it’s a LOT). You should probably also know how to navigate the crowds there. Finally, you’ll need to stay updated on if something closes, and we’ve got an extended closure in that world to tell you about.
The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle show is a nighttime show at Hogwarts with dazzling lights and music that celebrate the four Hogwarts houses. The show features projections on Hogwarts Castle.
However, according to WESH, that show is about to be closed for an extended amount of time. The show closes starting on May 10th to “make way for future show enhancements.” Universal has not yet revealed what those enhancements might be, but with the closure being an extended one, it seems like the show is getting some major updates.
Universal has not yet released a reopening date for the show, but we’ll keep an eye out for any updates as they come in.
