How much do you know about Disney’s Flamingo Crossings?
Flamingo Crossings is an outdoor shopping mall and dining area that is owned by Disney. It’s now just been announced that a new Italian restaurant is coming to the area later this year!
Nick Valenti will be opening a new restaurant in Flamingo Crossings, Simply Capri, in early May 2023. Valenti is “former longtime CEO of Patina Restaurant Group and Restaurant Associates where he collaborated on a dozen restaurants at Walt Disney World and Disneyland” according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Valenti says that they want to bring guests to the Amalfi Coast with “the style of the restaurant, the style and quality of the food.” It’s meant to be a relaxing environment where you don’t feel rushed. The restaurant will be employing around 50-60 people.
Valenti also shared that he plans to open another restaurant called Flatlands Bar and Grill across the street that could be open by the end of this year! As always, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
