A brand NEW park is coming to Universal Studios Florida!
That park is Epic Universe and will be home to Illumination, DreamWorks content, and Super Nintendo World. That’s all pretty exciting, but for now, the park is still under construction — BUT we have an update!
Epic Universe will be located about two miles southeast of the existing Universal Orlando parks and will have its own shopping district and hotels.
Thanks to @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we’ve got some brand new aerial photos of the Epic Universe construction site! The first photo shows a building at the West of the in-park hotel — what’s most interesting is that only a few months ago, all you could see here were utility ducts. So it’s coming right along.

3 Deep excavation in Classic Monsters land, now filled

Another aerial photo shows the hotel from a different angle.

This photo shows the park’s entrance, the basin that will lead to a chain of water features, the dual-racing coaster area, the How To Train Your Dragon coaster area, and the Donkey Kong coaster area. This is getting exciting!

Here’s a closer look at the high-speed dual-racing coaster. It looks like a lot of the track is already in place.

There will also be a Harry Potter-themed land and you can see some of the facades in this photo, as well as more details for some of the other coasters.
