5 Ways To Bring Disney Glam To Your New Year's Eve Party

2022 is coming to a close, and we are preparing not only for the new year ahead, but the parties we will be attending to celebrate!

New Years Eve is almost here!

Whether you’ll be at Disney World, a restaurant, or just your friend’s house, start your year off right with the perfect outfit.

People tend to feel better when they are confident in how they look. Step into 2023 with your head held high! These looks are inspired by Disney and are full of plenty of glitz and glam that will rival Spaceship Earth.

New Year’s Eve in EPCOT

While the giant ball that is Spaceship Earth might not drop like the iconic one in New York City, you can certainly shine bright on New Year’s Eve! Starting with this cool crossbody bag that reminds us of the geometric pattern on the attraction, we pulled the cooler tones from its exterior and made that the focus of the look. The silver holographic skirt also reminds us of something futuristic and fits in with the vibe EPCOT gives!

A purple top or bodysuit finishes off the clothing aspect, and we added purple glitter shoes because you can never have enough sparkle. Celebrate 2023 and the beginning of the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company with the all-new Disney100 Minnie Mouse Ear Headband — the triangular studs on the ears mimic the shapes in the bag! We finished off this look with some glittery “Happy New Year” earrings that you can wear again and again.

Silver and Blue Cinderella Look

If you can’t decide whether Cinderella’s dress from the original film was actually blue or silver, this outfit is for you. We combined both colors in this ensemble to create a winter-appropriate color palette. However, this blue dress is very cute but it doesn’t offer much in the way of warmth. If you happen to be celebrating the new year in a particularly cold area, you can always add some thick tights and a comfy pea coat to keep you warm!

The standout pieces in this look are the boots and bag, both covered with tons of silver glitter, gems, and stones. If you’re planning on going out, a pair of ankle boots with a chunky heel will give you height but keep your feet comfortable in the long run compared to your favorite stilettos! Silver and blue earrings and a black choker to match Cindy’s are the last accessories. We also added in some makeup suggestions — silver and blue shimmer eyeshadow can go a long way to brighten your eyes and make you look more awake than you are once the clock strikes midnight!

Golden Pixie Dust

More of a fan of gold than silver? We created this look inspired by Tinkerbell that incorporates more warm tones. Of course we had to start with a green dress to match hers! The flowy sleeves and hem definitely seem like something a pixie would wear. Next, we traded in her adorable (yet sensible) green flats for shoes that pack more of a punch. We think she’d approve of this change! Instead of fluffy pompoms on your feet, add a white faux fur wrap to keep you warm AND stylish.

Add your favorite Tinkerbell jewelry, like this gem-covered pendant and pixie dust earrings. Because we have so much going on by way of the shoes, wrap, and jewelry, we decided to keep the bag simple with a neutral crossbody that has a pearl accent. How chic!

Make it Pink (And Glittery Too!)

Not everyone is a fan of neutral metallic tones. For those who are itching for some more color, check out this look inspired by none other than Briar Rose herself. We started with this stunning skirt that is covered in an ombre gradient of pink sequins. Come on, when else are you going to get the chance to rock such a flashy piece like that?

Everything else here is kept in the same color family and pretty low-key. A matching pink top creates a color blocking effect, while the blush-toned coat and heels fit the color scheme without competing against the skirt. We picked out a trendy clear clutch with a gold chain that allows for you to convert it to a shoulder strap purse. Sticking with the gold, we added some delicate gold jewelry to add some sparkle near your face. Don’t forget your pink lips and shimmer shadows!

At The Stroke of Midnight

Considering Cinderella’s whole story is about her rushing to beat the clock, we just had to throw her in twice. If you’ll be spending New Year’s Eve in the parks, you can still look the part without sacrificing comfort. This is also a great look for a more low-key evening celebrating the new year. Starting off with this cute Cinderella tee, it really says it all! This skirt matches the blue in the shirt, plus it’s covered in twinkling sequins that remind us of the night sky.

Silver fashion sneakers go perfectly with this look and probably won’t fall off if you have to dash back to your resort room, and these “Happy New Year” martini glass earrings are so adorable!
