At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney shared that a HUGE party will be kicking off in January 2023 — the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration.
It’s all because the Walt Disney Company is turning 100! The celebration will span the Disney parks around the world and will include new decor, special eats and treats, merchandise, and more. And now, we know who the first sponsor of the festivities will be.
Have you RSVP’d to Disney’s “largest company-wide event” yet?! We’re getting ready to honor 100 years of the Walt Disney Company, but we’re certainly not the only ones. Hyundai Motor America will be the first official sponsor as the exclusive automotive partner for Disney100 (PR Newswire).
Angela Zepeda, Chief Marketing Officer for Hyundai Motor America shared, “Disney is a beloved brand that strikes an emotional connection with every interaction…Hyundai values customer experiences and the moments and stories shared along the way and with Disney, we look forward to tapping into the emotion and wonder by adding a little magic and inspiration to each journey.”
This isn’t the first partnership between Hyundai and Disney, as they teamed up in 2021 alongside Marvel to release a multi-series campaign for Disney with characters from ABC, ESPN, and Marvel.
Not only that, but Hyundai and Disney-owned National Geographic created an educational augmented reality experience that encouraged families to explore national parks in 2021.
