Over the years, Disney has received 36 Grammy Awards for their music across movies, documentaries, stage shows, and more. Will they add some more titles to their collection at the 2023 awards show?

The three biggest categories Disney is nominated for are mostly thanks to the animated hit Encanto. The entire soundtrack is nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media while composer Germaine Franco is up for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media (Includes Film and Television) for his score. Lastly, the mega-sensation “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media thanks to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s genius songwriting skills.

But Encanto isn’t the only recent Disney animated film to produce a song worthy of this nomination! “Nobody Like U”, performed by the fictional boy band 4*Town in Turning Red, is also up for the title of Best Song Written For Visual Media. Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell collaborated on this popular tune.

The 2021 adaptation of Broadway classic West Side Story, produced by the Walt Disney Company, is also nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media (watch out, Encanto).

Danny Elfman of Nightmare Before Christmas fame lent his other musical talents to the soundtrack for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, composing and arranging the Main Titles for the film and earning Disney a nomination for Composing/Arranging Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.

Lastly, Richard Jacques, the composer for the soundtrack to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy video game.
