Do you ever walk into Walt Disney World and dream of what it was like on opening day? The sights, the sounds, the smells… the rides?
Hidden deep within the mind of every Walt Disney World fan lives a version of it that is frozen in time, forever brand new, fresh and shining like it was on October 1st, 1971. With rides like Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, “it’s a small world”, and Tomorrowland Speedway, there wasn’t as much to do when Walt Disney World first opened, but we long to be present for that moment in history nevertheless.

Lucky for us, those rides are still in Magic Kingdom today, 51 years later, and for the price of admission you can take a time machine, walk down memory lane (a.k.a. Main Street USA) and literally ride Disney Parks history. They’re a lot of fun to ride for sure, but There’s ONE Reason These Disney World Rides Have Survived.
