Rides go down almost every day in Disney World.
There are a variety of reasons for this like technical difficulties, weather, or even power outages sometimes! But when you visit Disney World, there will probably be a closure that throws a wrench into your plans that day. And today, if you’re visiting EPCOT, one of the most popular rides is closed.
We opened the My Disney Experience app where we saw a pop-up message. It says that “Frozen Ever After is currently unavailable.”
Cast Members are working to get the attraction up and running again, but there is no estimated time that it will reopen as of now.
The same thing happened to us yesterday with Space Mountain — we even rode the PeopleMover afterwards and saw that the lights were on inside of Space Mountain.
We recommend to keep checking the My Disney Experience app since wait times are constantly updated. If you see a wait time in the app then you know the ride has reopened! You can also nicely ask a Cast Member if they know when the ride will reopen, but they may not have an exact answer.
