The movie has also sparked Disney recipes, new exhibits, and even a potential expansion at Disney World. Now we’ve got more information about another big offering coming to Disney+ — a live Encanto concert will be on the streaming service in December!

Encanto at the Hollywood Bowl, a Disney+ original special, will stream on Disney+ starting December 28th. This event will take guests into the Magical Casita in a Live-to-Film Epic Concert Experience. The original cast will be returning for the event (including Lin Manuel-Miranda), joined by an 80-person orchestra, 50 dancers, and special guests Carlos Vives and Andrés Cepeda.

The special will be directed by Chris Howe and Jamal Sims and produced by Fulwell 73 Productions. Conductor Anthony Parnther will lead the full orchestra in performing the film’s score and songs live-to-picture, while the outstanding cast and special guest artists perform the film’s acclaimed songs live.

The show will be filmed across two live performances on November 11th and 12th, that live audience members can buy tickets for ahead of time.
