There are many popular Disney snacks, but one of the most popular staples is Dole Whip.
We get excited every time we hear there’s a new Dole Whip to try in Disney, and even more excited when we hear about recipes that allow us to make the delicious treat at home. We’ve just found a recipe for a flavor of Dole Whip that we’ve never even heard of — here’s how you can make Pumpkin Spice-Sweet Potato Dole Whip at home!
This DOLE recipe is very simple — it only takes 18 minutes to make!
Ingredients
- 1 cup peeled and chopped DOLE® Sweet Potato
- 1¾ cups chopped DOLE® Pineapple, frozen
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened refrigerated coconut milk
- ¾ teaspoon gluten-free pumpkin pie spice
- Chopped pecans and/or coconut chips for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat your potato and 2 tablespoons water in a medium microwave-safe bowl, covered with plastic wrap with 1 edge slightly open to vent, in the microwave oven for 3 minutes or until very tender. Drain the potato and let it cool completely.
- Purée pineapple, syrup, milk, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and potato in a food processor on high until smooth, scraping down the bowl occasionally. This makes about 2 cups.
- Divide pineapple mixture into 4 bowls; sprinkle with remaining ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice and top with pecans and/or coconut chips, if desired.
And that’s all! It’s very simple, and we think this would make a great recipe for Thanksgiving if you celebrate.
