Princess Treats, Merchandise, and Photo Ops Coming to Disney Parks SOON

Did you forget that Disney is currently having the Ultimate Princess Celebration right now?!

The festivities kicked off last year as a global celebration that highlights the Disney Princesses and how they positively impact fans around the world. We’ve been seeing merchandise, music, and events for the celebration for the past several months. And, World Princess Week is returning SOON to the Disney Parks, and we’ve got a look at ALL of the celebrations!

World Princess Week is taking place from August 21st through the 27th this year. And, guess what? Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon is making her official debut as a Disney Princess this year!

The week is kicking off with Grammy Award-winning recording artist Brandy singing “Starting Now” in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Resort. This is the theme song of the Ultimate Princess Celebration! The video of the performance will be available on August 22nd.

So, let’s take a look at what celebration are happening around the Disney Parks!

In Disney World, Movies Under the Stars will be showing princess movie screenings all week at select resorts!

You can also go over to Disney Springs for a princess-themed DJ dance party on both Sunday, August 21st and Saturday, August 27th.

If you’re over in EPCOT, stop by the American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT for a Tiana and Naveen-inspired paper crown giveaway. Also, make sure to check out the princess-themed food and beverage offerings around Disney World!

Over in Disneyland, if you’re a Magic Key holder, you can go to Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure park for a photo op and magical extras.

Guests can also check out some live art at the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District on August 21st from 12-4PM. Disney Artist and Historian Stacia Martin will be drawing Disney Princess characters!

If you’re staying at any of the hotels at Disneyland Resort, you can head on over to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on August 22nd to see her in action again. If you’re staying at the Grand Californian’s club level, you will have a special opportunity to watch and chat with Stacia in the Veranda.

And, if you’re over in Disneyland Paris, you can check out The Royal Promenade, which is a cavalcade of princesses and queens set to the song “Starting Now.” You can also go behind Sleeping Beauty Castle for Aurora Welcome Greetings, featuring Princesses Aurora and dancers. Four exclusive Magic Shots from Disney PhotoPass will also be available during the week. And, you can collect free princess collectible cards in the park!

Disney says that if you can’t make it to the parks during the celebration, don’t worry! There will still be a lot of different ways you can take part in World Princess Week. You can dress up as your favorite Disney Princess or watch a princess movie on Disney+. You can take a look at Disney’s activity book to get some ideas for princess activities that are fun for the whole family.
