We may not have even gotten through the spooky season yet, but Disney is already thinking about the holidays! The Disney Festival of Holidays is returning to Disney California Adventure this year, bringing with it entertainment, the Festive Foods Marketplace, and Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

If you’re already looking forward to some cooler weather and the festive season, get excited because Disney just announced the dates for the Festival of the Holidays in Disney California Adventure!
Disney just announced that the Disney Festival of Holidays will be returning to Disney California Adventure on November 11th. The festival will run until January 8th, which means you’ll have almost two whole months to experience it!

The Festival of Holidays is all about highlighting all sorts of holidays including Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Three King’s Day.

There are also tons of entertainment offerings as part of the festival! Mickey’s Happy Holidays Dance Party is a dance party featuring Mickey and friends, plus the Holiday Toy Drummers. There will also be character sightings which will include an appearance by Mirabel from Encanto over at Paradise Gardens Park.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will also be returning. It is a street party that features Mickey and Minnie Mouse in festive attire inspired by Navidad. The party includes “Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists and giant mojiganga puppets.”

You’ll also be able to spot the Holiday Toy Drummers out and about in the park marching along to the beat of their drums, and you’ll be able to catch nightly holiday concerts at the Palisades Stage in Paradise Gardens Park.

Santa Claus will be returning to his holiday home on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, and you’ll be able to meet him throughout the entire festival. The whole trail has been transformed for his visit and will feature seasonal games, festive decor, and of course, Kris Kringle himself.

As far as food goes, the Festive Foods Marketplace will be returning. Specific menus haven’t been announced yet, but these marketplaces serve up some delicious holiday-themed snacks, treats, and drinks. The popular Sip and Savor pass will be available, which will allow guests to enjoy eight food or non-alcoholic drinks from the festival marketplaces or participating food locations for a flat rate. The price hasn’t been released yet, but in years past, it’s been somewhere between $50-$60.

World of Color — Season of Light, the holiday version of the World of Color show will be returning this year, as well. With all the excitement going on, we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more announcements about the Festival of Holidays. In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the information you need for the holidays in Disneyland.
