Why It Might Be HARDER to See Disneyland's World of Color This Month

If you love nighttime shows in Disney Parks, you need to see World of Color in Disney California Adventure.

World of Color involves Disney movie scenes being projected onto an 18,000 square foot water wall, along with favorite Disney songs, and it lights up the sky! This show recently returned to Disney California Adventure after a long absence, and we noticed some upcoming showtime cancellations.

Disneyland’s all-new Grad Nite Reunion After-Hours event will take place on June 23rd, 28th, and 30th from 8PM to midnight, which means Disney California Adventure (DCA) is closing early on those dates. Instead of closing at 10PM as per usual, DCA will close at 8PM on those three nights.

World of Color is typically scheduled for showtimes at 9PM and 10PM but on June 23rd, the show will be canceled due to the Grad Nite Reunion.

The same goes for June 28th and 30th too.

The Grad Nite Reunion is a new after-hours event that will include unique character interactions, retro photo ops, dance parties, unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads, snacks, and even more in Disney California Adventure. Tickets cost $150 or $154, depending on the night, and they’re on sale now!
