While you can currently meet characters in the parks and on Disney Cruise Line, the experience is a little different than you may be used to!
Currently, Disney has been doing distanced character “sightings” which involve getting to meet the characters and take pictures with them from a distance. However, that will all be changing SOON!
Not only will traditional character meet-and-greets be returning to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but it has also been announced that they will be returning to the Disney Cruise Line! Even better? We now know when!
That means that once again you’ll be able to hug your favorite characters, take pictures up close, and get autographs! Disney has announced that it will start reintroducing the experience within Disney World and Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney’s Aulani Resort in phases starting as early as April 18th!
The return of the experience comes just in time for the maiden voyage of Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, which is set to take sail starting on July 14th, 2022.

My recent comment was intended for a different post. Sorry.
Great info, buuut… the ending threw me a curveball. If these updates do not apply to sailings from Canada, where can I learn what to expect on the Disney Wonder, sailing from Vancouver, BC on April 26?
