We’re counting down the days until the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish sets sail (the first official voyage sets off on July 14th, 2022!). The ship will have some brand new dining, entertainment, and attractions for guests to experience, and based on what we’ve seen so far, it sounds like it’s going to be pretty spectacular!
As if we weren’t excited enough, Disney just shared more details on the new stage shows coming to the Disney Wish — let’s take a look!
The Disney Wish is going to have tons of new entertainment opportunities, including three stage shows, character meet and greets, and character dining experiences!
The new theater, with decorations inspired by Fantasia, will have the ability to showcase projection mapping and several special effects! Disney even called its upcoming entertainment a “broadway-level experience.”
Previously, Disney shared a sneak peek at its new version of The Little Mermaid, which will feature a reimagined score and script! Now, we’ve got a preview of some of the new costumes Ariel will wear during the show!
Remember how we told you that the stage is going to showcase some special effects? Well, Disney teased that guests can look out for video projections during the epic “Under the Sea” performance.
The other new show, called “Disney Seas the Adventure” will star our old pal Goofy as he dreams of becoming a sea captain!
Disney explained that the show will follow Goofy as his dream turns into “a wonderful journey through Disney songs.”
The third show coming to the Disney Wish is actually a returning favorite! Aladdin and Jasmine will fly through Agrabah in the beloved Aladdin stage show.
