We’ve got some Disney anniversary news for you today — and no, it’s actually not about Walt Disney World!

Disneyland Paris is preparing to celebrate its 30th Anniversary, and Disney just announced a whole wave of changes that are coming along with it! We’re sharing everything we know so far below.
According to the D23 , the celebration is set to kick off on March 6th, 2022 — almost 30 years to the day after the park originally opened in 1992!

A new show is coming as part of the anniversary, titled Dream… and Shine Brighter! which will be performed daily in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle! Speaking of characters, all of our favorite park friends will be getting some shiny new duds — check out this video to get a peek!
But that’s not the only new show! At night, guests will be dazzled by an all-new pre-show to Disney Illuminations, called Disney D-Light. The show will feature video projections, water jets, lighting effects, and iconic Disney songs.
Not only is Disneyland Paris celebrating with new shows, but there will also be “countless other experiences with family and friends… over 50 attractions perfect for both young and young at heart” including the Gardens of Wonder art installation! Billed as an “entirely new installation”, it will feature kinetic sculptures of Disney and Pixar characters that will “come to life”!

It wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without food and drinks, would it?! The Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary Celebration will bring snacks like a salted mashed potato waffle (yes please) and a white chocolate and strawberry cake served under a dome.

We will also be getting some exclusive anniversary merchandise that is sure to live up to Paris’ fashion standards! And, in other fashion news, Minnie Mouse has gotten a makeover from none other than legendary British fashion designer Stella McCartney!
McCartney will also be designing a Minnie Mouse shirt as part of International Women’s Rights Day!

And finally, what is probably the most anticipated aspect of Disneyland Paris’ 30th Anniversary — the opening of the Avengers Campus! Scheduled to open in Summer 2022, this new land will be found in Disney Studios Park.

We can’t wait to see what else the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris will bring! We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more updates, so be sure to check back here for all your Disney parks news!
