When you think about it, there are a TON of rides and attractions in Disneyland. In fact, there are more rides in Disneyland Park than there are in Magic Kingdom!

However, your upcoming trip to Disneyland this winter now appears to have one less ride available, according to a recent update on their website.
Disneyland has updated its website, and the Monorail appears to be getting ready to close for an unknown period of time. The closure will begin on February 14th, 2022…

…and continue through at least February 17th, which is as far out as Disneyland’s calendar currently goes.

After seeing this on the Disneyland website we chatted with some Cast Members. At that time, they indicated that the official date for the Disneyland Monorail refurbishment was still being determined.
UPDATE: The Disneyland website has now been updated to reflect the closure dates for the Disneyland Monorail’s refurbishment. The Disneyland Monorail will be closed from February 14th through March 6th. Of course, dates are subject to change so we’ll be on the lookout for more updates.

This means that you may have to do a little extra walking on your next trip to the Disneyland Resort! The Monorail transports guests between Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney, so while you could just ride the Monorail as a traditional Disneyland ride, you can also use it to move quickly around the resort property!

We’ll keep a close watch on Disneyland’s website for any other changes. In the meantime, make sure to follow along for more of the latest news and updates from the Disneyland Resort.
