Disney World is still using the park pass reservation system, which they began when the theme parks reopened last year.
With this system, you’ll need to reserve your pass to each theme park for each day, which you can do for free when you buy your ticket. This is meant to control capacity in each of the parks, which means that the park pass reservations for each park can and do run out. But, if you’re visiting Disney World soon and weren’t able to get the reservations you want, we’ve got some great news for you!
Disney World just added more park pass reservations for December 2021 AND January 2022! So, if you’ve had your eye on a park that was sold out previously, you’ll likely be able to get your pass for it now if you act fast.
Yesterday, the park pass availability for December showed limited park passes on most days in select parks and no passes available at all on several dates around the holidays (including New Year’s Eve).
But now there are many more passes available, including some for New Year’s Eve and the days surrounding this holiday!
Note that Magic Kingdom is still not available for any of the days marked yellow, and only Disney’s Animal Kingdom is currently available for New Year’s Eve. Plus, from December 27th through the 30th, only EPCOT is available right now.
For January, there was previously limited availability for park passes on New Years Day (with the Magic Kingdom being unavailable)…
…but now the passes have been completely replenished and you can reserve your pass for Magic Kingdom (or any of the theme parks) on New Years Day.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on the park passes and all other Disney news, so stay tuned with AllEars for more updates.
